We love this place! Always top notch service, great food, great people. Funny reading K.K's reviews, seems like from her history she doesn't have anything nice to say about most places. The fact that she is saying poor things about somebody's appearance says something in the first place. Unhappy people look for things to continue to be unhappy about. We have been coming here since they opened and have never had a bad experience. We love this place. Mykal is one of them hardest working people I know. He is constantly running around putting in work. Don't listen to K.Ks grumpy review.
I'm literally obsessed with Board & Brew. I'm drooling just typing this, LOL! Sometimes the craving strikes and there's no way to get rid of it until we go! I usually opt for the Turkey Avocado (Turcado?) but on SQUAW! And I always add sprouts and BANANA PEPPERS!!! I love a veggie-heavy sandwich. I couldn't resist trying a matcha hazy IPA... I didn't walk in midday expecting to have a beer, but why not! I'm grown! ;) Service is always great and such a chill vibe inside, too. :)
My better half and I recently stopped by and it's still one of my favorite neighborhood joints... I'm not really a fan of sandwich places but I love their tuna sandwich. I'm not sure if it's the ratio of tuna to mayo or the bread they use, but it's absolutely delicious. It's pretty large so be prepared to have half of your sandwich leftover for another meal. My youngest mini-me really enjoys their chicken club while my oldest mini-me has enjoy several different things from their menu. We've dined in and also had sandwiches to-go. The staff has always been friendly and the food comes out quickly. If you're into happy hours, there's always something going on... We'll be back!
I am so excited to be living close to a Board & Brew because it really is a top notch sandwich and if you are not pouring that special sauce all of your sandwich you are missing out. I really like being able to sit at the bar at this location, sometimes getting someone to come over and get your order can take a minute but it is always worth the wait. They also have a back patio with seating as well. This parking lot can be busy because there are a lot of spots over there that are popular including Trader Joes but if you just want to stop in and grab a sandwich to go it is always ready pretty quickly!
Food and drinks are excellent!! In addition to great food, the staff is super friendly and on the ball all at all times. The manager, Mykal, is one of the most friendly and hardworking people you will ever find in food service. His team of Jonah, Sophie, Evelyn, Dani, Emily, Giselle, Tyler, and so many more make this the best lunch and happy hour spots in all of Escondido. Disregard anyone who gives this place and their amazing staff any less than 5 stars. If you have a problem with this place, or these people, you have a problem with yourself (taking to you KK).
